Back by popular demand - Thomas Kay will be photographing the Solo Duo Recital, the Dress Rehearsal, and the two showings on Saturday.  Also he will be making available for purchase the complete set for $30 that can be used for your printing purposes or $20 for your selection of showings up to 1 full DVD (Approximately 1000 pictures).  Early estimates from just the Solo Duo Recital is in the 1300 Pictures range.  So its estimated that there will be 8000 pictures taken over the course of the three other performances.  (due to time constaints, Thomas may be unavailable to be taking pictures during all acts for the dress rehearsal and the solo duo recital, but has confirmed his attendance all day Saturday).  Order forms will be posted under the Registration/Payment links by the end of the weekend.

We have students that are dancing throughout the country. Some of our students are continuing their training, or have danced at DeSales University, Florida State, Temple University, University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Shenandoah University, California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles, New York City at Alvin Ailey School. Julliard School in New York City, Boston Conservatory, Radio City Music Hall, Cats National Tour, National Tour of 42nd Street, Mary Poppins on Broadway, “Across the Universe” A Sony Musical Movie, and many dance companies. We also have many students that have been accepted to summer programsf like New York City Dance Alliance, Princeton Ballet, Pennsylvania’s Governor’s School of the Arts, Pennsylvania Ballet, Boston Ballet, and many others. We also have many students who have danced at Dance Works for many years as a hobby and graduated with many great memories and lasting friendships they had made along the way. I am very proud of all my students’ accomplishments and wish them much success in their careers.

Fall Registration

Fall registration is now being accepted at Dance Works. Classes will run from September 4th through June 23rd. The fall schedule has now been posted and the online registration system is now fully functional.  Please register early, and remember to sign and complete the requested credit pre-authorization form at the completion of your online registration.

My daughter has attended dance works since she was 2-1/2 I could not have chosen a better studio. I can't begin to count the number of kids that have received full and partial scholarships to college for dance and there are numerous professional dancers across the country today that all graduated form Dance Works. If you want your child to learn how to dance properly, this is the studio to be at. I have watched many students transfer in to this studio way behind in what they should know at the levels of other girls their own age due to not being taught proper technique. If you want your child to be just another number and dance like just any other child in dance class there are plenty of other places to go.
